A Heartfelt Announcement: Retirement After 38 Wonderful Years

After 38 wonderful years of caring for and educating preschool-aged children, I have made the deeply meaningful decision to retire and close Club Tora the Unique Child Care Home.

This decision comes with a mixture of emotions — gratitude, pride, joy, and reflection. What

began as a profession quickly became my life’s work and true calling. For nearly four decades, I had the privilege of opening my home and my heart to preschoolers and their families, and the experiences and memories I have gathered along the way will remain among the greatest gifts of my life.

Each day brought tiny shoes at the door, eager smiles, curious minds, and the excitement of discovering something new. I had the honor of witnessing first friendships, first

accomplishments, and the incredible growth that happens during those precious early years.

There were story times, songs, art projects, laughter, learning moments, and countless hugs that filled my Club Tora with joy.

Over the years, I watched preschoolers become kindergarteners, kindergarteners become

graduates, and in some cases, I have had the remarkable experience of seeing those same

children grow up and become parents themselves. To be entrusted with a child during such

important years of life is a responsibility and privilege I never took lightly.

I also want to express sincere gratitude to the families who placed their trust in me and to DHS the state licensing agency whose guidance, encouragement, and support throughout my career helped me provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. I always felt part of a shared mission — caring for and supporting children and families.

Club Tora was never simply a job to me. It was a calling. It shaped my life in ways I could never fully put into words.

As I close this chapter, I do so with a full and grateful heart. While the daily routines become

quieter, the memories, relationships, and love built over these 38 years will remain with me

always.

To every child who walked through my door, every family who entrusted me with their most

precious gift, and every person who supported me along this journey — thank you. It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life.
